1. Fakenham Rental
All vehicle hires arranged through Fakenham are subject to a detailed Rental Agreement issued at booking confirmation or when the vehicle is collected. The agreement outlines the specific terms, conditions, insurance information, charges, and your responsibilities for that hire. If any conflict occurs between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will prevail.
2. Fakenham Eligibility
To rent a vehicle from Fakenham, you must:
- Be at least 21 years old when renting in Fakenham (age restrictions may vary by vehicle type, with additional charges applying to drivers under 25). Hold a valid, full driving licence appropriate for the vehicle category, held for the minimum period specified in the Rental Agreement. Provide valid identification and proof of address and payment method as required by the Rental Agreement.
3. Reservation and Payment
- Bookings can be made via our website, by phone, or in person at our Fakenham office. A booking deposit may be requested to confirm your reservation. Full payment and the security deposit are usually due when the vehicle is collected. All prices are quoted in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable.
4. Vehicle Collection and Return in Fakenham
- At Fakenham, inspect the vehicle thoroughly at collection and report any existing damage immediately. A vehicle condition report will be completed and signed by you and a Fakenham representative. Return the vehicle in the same condition as collected, allowing for normal wear and tear. Any new damage will be assessed and charged accordingly.

You must not use the vehicle rented from Fakenham for:
- Any unlawful purpose or activity involving a Fakenham vehicle. Racing, rallying, off-roading, or other high-risk driving. Transporting hazardous or regulated materials. Sub-letting to third parties or permitting drivers not authorized by Fakenham. Operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Purposes for which the vehicle is not intended...
Violating these restrictions may result in immediate Fakenham rental termination and additional charges.
8. Limitation of Liability for Fakenham
To the maximum extent permitted by English and Welsh law, Fakenham Vehicle Hire Services will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or business, arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the total charges paid by you for the hire that gave rise to the claim.
9. Fakenham Law
These Terms for Fakenham are governed by English and Welsh law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English and Welsh courts.
